Packing and loading is in our company name, and it is the part of an Atlanta move most people underestimate. Georgia Pack and Load sends trained packing crews from our Suwanee headquarters across the metro: Sandy Springs, Roswell, and Alpharetta up GA-400, Decatur and Tucker inside the perimeter, Marietta and Kennesaw on the Cobb side, and the Gwinnett corridor from Norcross through Lawrenceville to Buford where we are based. We bring the materials with us, including dish packs, wardrobe boxes, and picture cartons, so nothing gets improvised on packing day. Most metro homes pack out in a single day, labeled room by room so the unload is fast. Plenty of Atlanta customers hand us only the hard rooms, usually the kitchen, the glassware, and the framed art, and pack the rest themselves. We have packed Georgia homes this way since 1995, with our own full-time employees doing the work.

Yes, that is the standard rhythm. The packing crew works the day before loading day, so you sleep in your home surrounded by labeled boxes and the movers load first thing the next morning. Larger homes get a two-day pack, planned in the estimate.
Do I need to buy boxes anywhere in the metro first?
No. When our crew packs you, every carton and all the paper, tape, and cushioning come with us. If you are packing yourself and only need materials, call the Suwanee office and we can help with supplies.
